About the department
The Geography department teaches students to understand the relationship between the Earth and people: from the natural environment to social and economic processes.
Our students learn to interpret maps, data and the phenomena of the world around us — from the local landscape to global connections. The subject is the basis of an informed, environmentally aware outlook that helps us make responsible decisions about the world. Our students get to know their immediate and wider surroundings through lessons, fieldwork and competitions.
