The Chemistry department introduces our students to the world of matter and its transformations through the experience of experimenting and discovery.
Alongside solid theoretical foundations, we place the emphasis on laboratory work, careful observation and critical thinking. We are convinced that scientific literacy is one of the keys to a responsible, well-informed life. Our students can put the knowledge gained in lessons to good use in subject competitions and in workshops for those interested in the sciences.
