About the department
This department is marked by cooperation across disciplines, because we deal with the questions and forms of existence beyond tangible reality and with the search for the meaning of life, while, alongside the correct use of concepts, we also draw attention to the importance of business plans.
Our educational aim is to help students come closer to themselves, to be able to put their own problems into words and then solve them by themselves, and to combine their ability to cope with failure with creative tools.
Talent development, as we see it, means above all preparing volunteers for various competitions and student research conferences. For more than ten years now our students have achieved fine results at the TUDEK and TUDOK competitions.
Innovation and creativity are the two concepts that characterise our thinking and our plans for the future. Every year we welcome our former students back to teach us through their talks and research results, and we in turn document the work produced during their secondary-school years.
In connection with career choice, we pay particular attention to the skills and abilities that are specific to our students' personalities.
