The Music department opens a window, through the language of sound, onto the world of culture and self-expression.
Our students learn about the history, theory and practice of music, and discover that music is one of the finest sources of shared experience and belonging. We believe that music education develops attention, emotional sensitivity and creativity. As members of the choir and the music workshops, and as performers at school celebrations, our students can experience the joy of making music together.
