School Differently

The "School Differently" week

"School Differently" is a yearly programme in which, for one week, students learn in a different way from the usual timetable: they gain their knowledge through projects, workshops and activities out in the field.
The programme aims to develop creativity, cooperation and critical thinking: skills that are harder to bring out within the traditional classroom setting.

Environmental education

Sustainability, waste management and ecological awareness

Experiments

Chemistry and science experiments in a real-world context

Teamwork

Projects carried out in teams drawn from different classes

Project work

In-depth research on a topic, ending with a presentation

  • Kis Csenge's 7-day chemistry experiments: a test of breaking down plastic with acids
  • Multimedia presentations on global warming and recycling
  • Screening: the animated film A BioDaVerzítás-kód
  • An interactive quiz competition between three class teams
