Gyöngyvirág Dance Group

The Gyöngyvirág folk dance ensemble

The Gyöngyvirág (Lily of the Valley) folk dance group was founded in 2007 on the initiative of secondary school students and history teacher Hajdu Zoltán. Its aim is to cherish traditions and present them worthily — a spirit that has guided the ensemble since its foundation.
Their performances captivate audiences, and through working together the members gain friendships, memories, exciting experiences, broader horizons, more knowledge and cultural enrichment.
The ensemble grows with new members every year, welcoming interested students from every grade.

The ensemble is made up of students from grades IX–XII, coordinated by four group leaders.

Performances

The most important performances are at the Ribbon Ceremony ball and on the 15 March national holiday. They also appear at award ceremonies and class reunions.
