Bolyai Schools' Meeting
A tradition of more than twenty-five years: the international association of schools bearing the Bolyai name
How did it start?
In 1998 the head teachers of four secondary schools bearing the Bolyai name expressed their wish to work together. The formal association was founded on 21 March 2005, and since then it has organised regular meetings and joint programmes.
What do we do?
The delegations of the member schools compete in mathematics, general knowledge, heritage, arts and sports contests. The winning team receives a challenge cup. The meeting serves to cherish the Bolyai heritage and to foster dialogue between Hungarian schools in the Carpathian Basin.
